Leh has no railway connection so people planning for Leh trip should give up the idea of travelling in train.
Leh-Manali highway and NH 1D connects Leh with Srinagar (434 Km), Manali (473 km), Delhi (1047km), Kargil (234Km), etc. JKSRTC has frequent bus service from adjoining cites of Jammu and Kashmir. You can also hire a cab from Srinagar or Delhi and reach Leh through the curing hilly roads.
