Adventure Camps In Damdama Lake
Damdama Lake is a famous reservoir in Sohna which is based in Gurgaon district of the northern Indian state of Haryana. The area of this enchanting lake is about three thousand acres. British had made an earthen dam during their rule in India. During 1947 when our country got independence, this dam was commissioned to be used for rain water harvesting and this largest lake was formed. It is held by embankment and is mainly fed by the monsoon rain which is poured in a trough at Aravali hill base. Today Damdama Lake greets various visitors who feel like to have adventure camping with a water level about twenty feet down.
Encompassed by mountain range of Aravali, Damdama Lake is set in a beautiful scenic area which is serving as a popular spot for picnic and is visited by countless people to enjoy their weekends. Far away from the clattering cities, it is nestled in a quite atmoshphere. There are many options available for boating paddled boat, row boats as well as motor boats.
