NH-8 is the busiest highway in India that connects Delhi with Mumbai, the economic zones of India. The 4-lane roads intersect major Indian destinations like Jaipur, Gurgaon, Ahmadabad, Surat, Udaipur and more to name. The 1,428 Km stretched highway constructed by National Highway Authority of India for speed up the communication between the two major cities.
Adventure Activities:- The 1428 Km long road is very popular among the young adventure lovers for biking and long driving. As the highway runs over the major places like Jaipur or Gurgaon, people can have plenty of adventure sports and activities in the adjoining sites. There are number of private outdoor adventure firms who organize biking, angling, bungee jumping, sport fishing as well as desert safaris. You can also enjoy the Damdama Lake or Maneswar, which are close to Delhi.
How to reach:- As the NH8 runs between two cities, the highway is well connected with all the transportation systems of both the cities.
People can take cab service from IGI Airport of Delhi, which is very close to the NH8 through Dwarka. However, Mumbai Airport is not so close and requires more than 2 hours to reach the place.
Indian Railways can connect NH8 from the major railway junctions of the city. The closest railway stop is Andheri and Vile Parle railway stations in Mumbai, while from Delhi, New Delhi railway and Delhi Cantt are close (approximately 10 Km).
Local cab service or bus service can also help you reach NH8 through road.Delhi Airport Express Line (Metro service) is also close to NH8.
