The world famous Valley of Flowers is situated in the upper expansions of Bhyundar Ganga in the far interior of Garhwal Himalayas. Spread over an area of 87.5 sq. kms., the valley is at an altitude of is 3250 m to 6750 m above mean sea level. The Valley is is renowned for its meadows of endemic alpine flowers and outstanding natural beauty. Many a legend are associated with this vibrant and eye catching Valley, and are often in the epics of the Ramayana and Mahabharat.

HIMALAYAN ECO LODGE VALLEY OF FLOWERS is located in a beautiful spot in Ghangria before one enters the crowded part of this busy centre. Surrounded by thick jungle, it is a comfortable place to rest one's tired legs after trekking to the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib. The Camp Ghangria has Swiss tents which are comfortably furnished with attached washrooms.

Ghangria sits a a strategic location from where the Valley of flower trip begin, Ghangria became the base after camping in the valley was banned. While one direction takes you to the valley, the other leads to the high altitude lake of Hemkund sahib, a revered shrine of the sikh community.
